Meet Michelle Castle
Since 1996, Michelle Castle has been assisting families find the perfect loan to purchase their dream home, vacation home or investment property. Motivated to be the best she can be, Michelle provides over the top service. Because of this drive to be the best, Michelle has been a top producing loan officer and manager for most of her career.
In 2013, Michelle was honored by the Greater Texoma Association of Realtors as “Affiliate of the Year” and voted Herald Democrat’s “Best of Texoma – Best Mortgage Loan Officer” in 2013 and 2014. Michelle has been honored by Guild Mortgage Company as one of the top 10% producers in the company and received the Circle of Honor Award for 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. She was honored to be included in the President’s Club in 2011, 2012 and 2014.
Michelle joined Guild Mortgage Company in 2011, opening a branch office in Sherman, Texas, then a few months later a satellite office in Celina and most recently a satellite office in Killeen. In 2014 Michelle received honors in not only the number of loans funded, but was recognized for outstanding customer service according to customer surveys. She loves to say “You’re APPROVED” and she gets to say that a lot!
Michelle said recently “I firmly believe what makes my team different is the fact we truly care about the families we serve. We know this is a stressful time in the buyer’s and seller’s lives. Communication throughout the transaction is imperative. We also make closing loans on time a priority.”
Michelle also believes in giving back to her community and her industry. She is a Board of Director for the Child and Family Guidance Center of Grayson County, serves on several committees for the Greater Texoma Association of Realtors, is a Lone Star contributor to TREPAC – a voluntary, nonprofit organization that supports legislation for the protection of private property rights and a sponsor to dozens of local charitable fundraising events. This “making an impact” philosophy carries over to her team who also serve their communities and industry through participation and funding.
Guild Mortgage is a direct lender to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginny Mae, which allow them to approve loans other lenders turn away. Guild also offers a number of conventional and jumbo loan programs with in-house underwriting, making the approval process smoother. In Texas, Guild is one of the top lenders participating in SETH down payment assistance loans. Guild also participates in the USDA rural housing loan programs.
Since 1960, Guild has been bringing new possibilities for home ownership to thousands of families. For more than fifty years Guild has paired the resources of a large company with the accessibility and soul of a small company in order to serve their customer’s needs. Just the way Michelle likes it!
